Mi’Kmaq Drum Making Workshop with Todd Labrador at White Point

Have you ever wanted to make your own drum? We’re delighted to welcome back Elder Todd Labrador to host a drum making workshop. Known as a gifted artist and sharer of knowledge, Todd has been recognized for his work, most recently named Creative Nova Scotia’s Indigenous 2017 Artist of the Year . Todd has hand prepared all the materials you will need to make your own drum under his guidance.

Everything you need for this workshop will be supplied with your registration, the hide, the hoop and the deer rawhide for your drum lacing.

Workshop Fee: $325 plus tax
Maximum number of participants: 12 (min 5 ppl required to host workshop)
Includes instruction, all materials and refreshments
