Surf’s Up!

Surfing White Point Beach ResortCheck out what it’s like to ride the Atlantic Ocean on a surf board here at White Point – take a ride now in our newest video!

Surf our ‘beach break’ when you are here – the Atlantic Ocean serves up swells that are perfect for beginners, and après-storms great for those looking for a bit of a challenge. Bring your own board, or rent one of ours from the Boathouse. We have long-boards, wet suits and even body boards – so, ready to hit the waves and ‘Hang 10’?

The Boathouse is open daily from Victoria Day Weekend (May) to Thanksgiving Weekend (Oct) so there’s plenty of time for you to give it a try! Feel the power of the surf, the saltiness of the ocean and yes, it’s chilly – but an amazing experience to be enjoyed during your stay.

Will there be surf when you are here?
While we don’t have a crystal ball to tell for sure, we, along with many surfers, refer to a website called Magic Seaweed – there is a report for White Point! We invite you to check it out. Of course, if you want to check ‘visually’ you can click over to our OceanCam on Nova Scotia Webcams to see what it looks like anytime.
