Wednesday Night Spooky Stories with Vernon Oickle

Vernon Oickle is a celebrated Canadian writer and journalist from Nova Scotia. Born in Liverpool, Nova Scotia, Vernon began his journalism career with The Liverpool Advance and has gone on to become one of the region’s best-known storytellers of folklore, history, and ghost stories.

Vernon has written more than 40 books throughout his career, sharing the fascinating stories, legends, and traditions of Atlantic Canada.

Join us for an all-ages spooky story time around the nightly bonfire filled with local folklore, fascinating tales, and perhaps the odd ghost or two!

Discover some of the stories that have been haunting Nova Scotia for generations.
