Pack your bathing suits (and mitts) and bring the family pets and make plans to have a fun March Break right here at White Point. We’ve got 10 GR8 fun-filled days ready to roll perfect for families of all shapes, sizes and interests.

In addition to our daily bonfires, marshmallow roasts, dips in the pool, live entertainment and face painting, our daily afternoon ‘family feature event’ – including welcoming the 1st day of Spring with a tug-of-war!

Saturday March 16th:

  • 11am: Beginner Winter Surfing With East Coast Surf School
    $90 person (suitable for 16+ years able to swim, but 12+ years possible weighing 105+ lbs

  • 3:30pm: Toy Time with the Toy Maker of Lunenburg
  • 3:30pm: Survival Skills 101 and Essential Knots! (Ideal for 12 yrs+)
  • 7:30pm: Rockin’ Rod Karaoke Dance Party
  • 8:00pm: Tony Quinn in the Founder’s Lounge till 11pm
  • 8pm: Movie in the Kids’ Zone

Sunday March 17th: Happy St. Paddy’s Day 

  • 10am: Yoga for All !
  • 3:30-4:30pm: St. Paddy’s Day Kids Party – get your green on!
  • 7pm: 2 hr weaving workshop with House of Wooly Thyme
    Recommended age: 10+ years. This FREE workshop is limited to only 8 participants.
    Reserve a space for your ‘weaver’ when you make your reservation!
  • 8pm: Big Screen Movie Night
  • 8pm-11pm: James Devine is on stage in the Founder’s Lounge

Monday March 18th: Gone Fishin’

  • 10am: 2 hr weaving workshop with House of Wooly Thyme
    Recommended age: 10+ years. This FREE workshop is limited to only 8 participants. Reserve a space for your ‘weaver’ when you make your reservation to ensure you have a spot!
  • 1:30- 4:30pm: Gone Fishing! Learn fishing tips and tricks from members of the Nova Scotia Guides Association, you’ll be ready to begin fishing when the season opens!
  • 3:30pm: Sip your way through six varieties of beer from Tanner & Co. Brewery
    (19 yrs +, register at Front Desk as space is limited)
  • 7:30pm: Do you believe? 52 years ago ….Revisiting the Shag Harbour Incident: UFO or what?
  • 8pm: Big Screen Movie Night
  • 8pm-11pm: GuyPaul Thibault performs in the Founder’s Lounge

Tuesday March 19th: Chocolate Creation Fun

  • 3:30pm: Chocolate Creations with Chef Allan Crosby – BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!
  • 7:30pm: Create a ‘Sailing Art’ from ‘found’ shoreline treasures with local artist, Leeanna!
    (12 yrs+, register when you make your reservation)
  • 8pm: Big Screen Movie Night

Wednesday March 20th : Spring Equinox

  • 3:30pm: Pier 21: Canadian Museum of Immigration – Welcome to Canada!
  • 6:45-7pm: Spring Equinox Tug of War: Spring vs Winter: Who will win?
  • 7:30pm: Rockin’ Rod Kids’ Carnival Dance Party
  • 8pm: Movie in the Kids’ Zone
  • 8pm-11pm: Brooklyn Blackmore hits the stage in the Founder’s Lounge

Thursday March 21st: Celebrating you, Big Blue … the Atlantic Ocean

  • 10am Yoga For All
  • 3:30pm: Coastal Cruise along our shoreline with our friends from Bluenose Coastal Action Foundation
  • 7pm: Lobster Teen Paint Nite!
