White Point’s Smoky Tomato Bisque

After a Twitter explosion about Chef Alan’s Smoky Tomato Bisque, we went to Chef Alan and pleaded with him to share the recipe. Actually, if we’re being completely honest, we didn’t need to plead because he loves sharing in hopes that you too may enjoy his creations at home.

Ingredients: white point tomato bisque

  • 1/2 cup Olive Oil
  • 3 Cups Chopped Onions
  • 2 TBSP Chopped Garlic
  • 1 Can Diced tomatoes (or fresh ones from your garden!)
  • 2 TBSP Basil
  • 1 Cup Vegetable Stock Base
  • 5 Cups Hot Water
  • 1pc Chipotle in Adobo
  • 1 liter Cream
  • 4 TBSP Smoked Paprika

Preparation:

Warm Olive Oil.
Add onions and cook.
Add garlic, cook till tender.
Add spices, bring to a boil.
Add cream and puree.
