Shauna MacLeod – Impressions of Nature
Artist Shauna MacLeod’s ‘Impressions of Nature’ will be featured in Sea’spired.
Whimsical and cheerful hand built flowers made of Nova Scotia clay, glazed with bright and intense colours to attract and delight. The flowers are inspired by but not imitations of real flowers and are meant to intrigue the viewer. I hope they encourage joy and bring a smile to your face. Mediums used to create these flowers include clay, glaze and steel rods. Flower dimensions are 3 ft high x 2ft 6in wide.
Shauna MacLeod started Black Crow Pottery studio in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia in 2012. She enjoys making functional pottery as well as sculptural work.
