Tidewatch Cottage is an architecturally designed vacation home that is the perfect country retreat. Located in the resort community of White Point Beach Resort on a scenic tidal basin by the Atlantic Ocean; Tidewatch enjoys spectacular water views in breathtaking natural surroundings.
Tidewatch guests enjoy VIP priviledges nearby White Point Beach Resort (which is just a ten-minute walk away.) You are welcome to use all of this 4 star resort's services and amenities. After a morning on the golf course, head to the resort spa for a relaxing deep tissue aromatherapy massage or body treatment, take a dip in the saltwater pool, dine by the sea in our historic main lodge dining room, savour a glass of fine wine in the lounge by the beach stone fireplace, and take a stroll down the ¾ mile private beach (footwear optional).
Explore Nova Scotia! Hop in your car and take a day to drive the "Lighthouse Route" in search of the majestic lighthouses that dot our coastline (including beautiful Peggy's Cove). You can make leisurely stops along the way to visit historic towns and villages and sample the local cuisine or browse the many shops and galleries for treasures.
Enjoy more of our Maritime history and hospitality. Go North to the Bay of Fundy and witness the highest tides in the world and experience our Acadian history. As you open the door to this beautiful waterfront home you are welcomed into the great room with its vaulted beamed ceiling, large windows, fireplace, large screen TV, Dining area, breakfast bar, fully equipped kitchen, with sliding doors that open onto a deck and the lovely landscaped yard. The casual décor gives the feel of relaxed elegance.
There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the main floor. One bedroom contains two double beds and the Second is the first Master bedroom with a queen-size bed, sliding glass doors that open onto the deck and en suite bath with whirlpool tub and sliding glass doors that open onto the deck.
Up stairs is the second Master suite with fireplace, cozy seating area, and sliding glass doors leading to a private balcony with incredible views of the ocean and tidal basin. Plus, large 3rd bathroom, kitchenette, and a media room with wide screen Plasma TV. The large lot is beautifully landscaped and boasts a gazebo, Propane BBQ, Patio, loungers for sunbathing, a large hot tub that seats 4 and a children's playhouse.
