1) Traditional Chinese Acupressure
Your one-hour full body treatment will include pressure and massage (Tuina) on over 100 points beginning with the facial and scalp massage. Acupressure Massage stimulates the same points as Acupuncture. Acupressure is finger pressure and massage applied to acupoints and meridians (energy pathways) to stimulate energy or "Chi" in the body, relieving chronic pain, boosting immunity and reducing tension.

Acupressure Massage reconnects mind and body. It brings fresh blood to tired lungs and heart. Toxins that can cause headaches and sleeplessness are carried away from the liver. 12)Body Sculpturing Treatments

14) Meditation
Are you curious about meditation? Practiced for thousands of years, meditation unlocks your positive and powerful energy relieving stress and anxiety, naturally. Sharing her experience and knowledge, instructor Karen Whynott will guide you through a one hour meditation session, introducingyou to age old techniques and basic principles. You'll explore breathing techniques, guided imagery, chakra balancing and mantra meditations. Afterward, we invite you to use the rugged natural beauty of White Point to practice and get in touch with your inner self.
You will receive a schedule to practice at home and follow up support if required. Sessions can take place in the Spa, on the beach or another appropriate location selected by the participant.

Our Therapists

Dorothea Kittel is certified in both Germany and Canada. She has over 20 years of experience in many areas of relaxation and therapeutic massage. She is also a licensed esthetician & Reiki practitioner. Her specific areas of practice include facials and a variety of body treatments, Swedish relaxation massage and other therapeutic massages such as Lymphatic Drainage and Oedema Therapy.

Karen Whynott has studied and worked with meridian based therapies for the past ten years. She has a diploma in Traditional Chinese Acupressure to treat pain conditions, many common illnesses and stress. She trained under the direction of Dr. Franklin S. Chen and Dr. Diana Tong Li at the Canadian College of Natural Medicine in Halifax, N.S. She is also certified in advanced techniques in Quantum-Touch® (www.quantumtouch.com). Karen is also a certified Reiki Master/Teacher.
