Congratulations to The Discovery Centre - the winners in our 1st Nominate and Win contest last Nov./Dec. who were among the 180 organizations nominated!
Please join us as we continue to celebrate the great work undertaken by the many Charities, Clubs, Organizations and Associations in our Communities with our 2nd Celebrate and Win Contest! This time however, we have added a twist - nominate your favourite organization and you both could win!
The organization with the most nominations will WIN a Gift Certificate for a Weekend Getaway at White Point Beach Resort!
PLUS...we'll award a 2nd Gift Certificate for a Weekend Getaway at White Point Beach Resort to one of the winning organizations nominators!
Use the Gift Certificate as a fundraiser...
- sell tickets on it
- put it in your silent auction
- auction it off
- give it to your "Volunteer of the Year" or
- recognize a valued Staff Member with it.
If you are the winning organization, how you use it is completely up to you! And, if you are the lucky nominator who's name is drawn for the 2nd Weekend Getaway - you too can use it as you like! Give it to your favourite organization or treat yourself to a getaway.
Be sure to pass along this link to all of your volunteers, staff, supporters, family and friends and have them nominate your organization!
Here's how it works...
- Celebrate your favourite charity, club, group, organization or association by nominating them in the form provided here.
- You can nominate more than one organization - the more you nominate, you increase your chances of winning too!
- Increase your nominees chances of winning! Forward this nomination form to your friends, volunteers, staff, members, supporters and have them nominate their favourite organization.
- Nominations will be accepted from
January 21-February 21, 2009. - Organization with the most nominations will win a Gift Certificate for a Weekend Getaway at White Point Beach Resort!
- One name from all the nominators of the winning organization shall be drawn and awarded a Gift Certificate for a Weekend Getaway at White Point Beach Resort.
- Winners will be announced in White Point's "Great Day Club" March newsletter and on www.whitepoint.com. Winner will be notified not later than February 27, 2009.
- Please note, previous Celebrate & Win contest winners are not eligible to win. We invite you to nominate and rally behind another one of your favourites!
