Everyday we have comments from guetss about what they liked most about their vacation at White Point. Here are some comments that have come in…after they have returned home and of course, we love getting them!

Hi, there — Just wanted to tell you what a wonderful time we had when we visited White Point on Thursday, July 8. We were only there for one night, but we’ll definitely come back for more! The beach is spectacular!! Our room was beautiful and waking in the night to the sound of the waves crashing on the shore was magical. Our dinner and breakfast were both delicious. And our waiter at dinner was fabulous. We should have gotten her name, but you’ll know who I mean when I say she was a professional figure skater and did training for the Screaming Eagles for four years. She made our experience all the nicer.

Guest comments just keep coming in – from all over about White Point!

Guests complete Comment Cards and leave them behind in their room for us to find, we collect them all, everyone reviews them and then we make changes based on feedback received – it’s just part of the process here at White Point. Just had to share some of the comments that have been coming in over the last number of weeks!

“We had a desire to “get away” – the Tuscany theme was invery interesting – so we came. I am very impressed with my stay and hope to return. There was just not enough room on the comment card to sing the praises of White Point. Chef Alan and Sommelier Dan were top notch! They were engaging and informative. They both showed ease and comfort with their presentations (Chef’s Magic and “Off the Vine”) as well as withthe participants. Chef Alan offed an excellent selection of recipes during Taste of Italy.  An excellent first experience!”

“We came on an RCI Exchange. Our cottage was as well equipped as any we have ever stayed in over 20 years as RCI members. The Accommodations were ideal. Everyone loved the nature trail, the oceanviews, the wildlife (especially the porcupine) and the friendly staff. Our only suggestion would be for a more extensive lounge menu for late afternoon snacking”

“We enjoyed our stay immensely! Definitely one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. Seems like we’re far away from home but only 1/2 hr away! Our waitress in the dining room was awesome and very helpful. The only thing we can suggest would be bigger bags of ice or an ice machine in the main lodge, everything else was amazing!”

“Dorthea, your massage therapist is exceptional. Very warm, friendly and with expert technique which I found to be very soothing and helpful to my muscle pain. I would visit White Point just for a treatment with her. In my room, the bed was very comfortable but the chairs and carpet did not meet our expectation.”C. Murrell, NS

In the deep winter freeze of January, many Nova Scotians are warming up with us here at White Point!
Here’s a sampling of a few of the comments we’ve seen coming in…

“We live 1 1/2 hrs away and loved out first visit…and that was just for lunch in 2007.

Earlier today, this comment card came through from a guest who stayed in December. They mentioned so many of our staff – it needed to be shared!

Our Stay here was exceptional. Our experience will keep us coming back. We highly recommend this place to our friends. There are a few staff we’d like to mention:
- Karen, the events coordinator for helping arrange a great party;
- Fred, our server, was very knowledgeable and helpful with wine selection and food choice;
- Sid, the bartender, was very helpful with wine choice: and
- we can’t forget Chef for the awesome food presentation.

We received this comment from a one of our guests who were here over the Christmas Holidays. They indicated they had been here before but decided they wanted to try a cottage and spend the holidays with us. They went on to offer the following comments about some of our team:
Fred (Dining Room): Exceptional as always.
Heidi – for the stories and laughs at the bar.
Dylan (Dining Room) – Polite, friendly & efficient.
Keighan – Friendly and makes excellent cocktails.
Special Note: We can’t forget to mention Cindy in the Dining Room. She’s hard working, professional, and knows how to make us feel welcome & special.

“We particularly enjoy the fact that we can bring our dogs. This really makes you particularly special among resorts. When we respond to RCI’s questionnaire, you will get the highest marks from us. Incidentally, your aid in our moving to a new unit for our last 2 days, as per our reservation, was outstanding!”

While many were just getting up on Dec. 25th, the staff at White Point were in the kitchen getting everything ready for Christmas Day gatherings! The Dining Room was filled with savoury treats from Chef Alan and his team, while the Servers were bustling around the families who gathered to satisfy their appetite!
