Surfing: Simply put, our beach
is awesome for surfing! We have body boards that provide excellent
fun and frolic on our beach. Easy to learn and for all ages.*
Our 'Learn to Surf' program is conducted in co-operation with
Rossignol Surf Shop.
The program runs from July 2 to Aug 30, Saturdays 10am-2pm and
2-4pm. Arrangements can be made for other dates and times. Reservations
are recommended. Our wetsuits will keep you plenty warm when the
ocean water will not.
Prices: Body Boards, Surf Boards OR Wet Suits
are- $10/hour, $20/4 hours and $40/day. Boards AND Suits are-
$20/hour,$30/4 hours and $50/day *all rates subject
to applicable taxes
Scuba Diving: We can arrange scuba diving equipment and
can provide information on excellent excursions and certification
programs. In August 1998, the Matthew Atlantic was purposely sunk
off Port Mouton Island and serves as a great artificial diving
reef. Please consult our front desk upon your arrival for more
information.

Kayaking: Our ocean and lake
offer ideal settings for kayaking. Whether your looking for an
introductory lesson or want to spend the day on the waves, we've
got the equipment and resources for you to enjoy your adventure
on the water. Kayak lessons are available Monday, Wednesday and
Friday from 10 am to 12 pm. Individuals - $20. Couples - $35.
Sit-on-top kayaks are also available for $5 per hour. (All rates
subject to applicable taxes). Kayaking tours are available in
cooperation with Rossignol
Surf Shop. In addition to learning the basic kayaking techniques,
you'll also experience a unique form of sightseeing - from sea
level! Programs run daily from May 20 to October 9. Full day $95,
Half day $55, Kejimkujik Seaside Adjunct Tour $125. (All rates
subject to applicable taxes).
White Water Paddling: Experienced
paddlers will enjoy the challenge of nearby Medway River, one
of the best places in Nova Scotia to experience whitewater rapids
in the off-season.
