Accommodations

White Point has a total of 164 guest rooms ranging from oceanfront cottages with 1 to 3 bedrooms, cozy lodge rooms to Lakeside Retreat rooms. All of our accommodations are equipped with a bar fridge and cottages have either a woodstove or a fireplace. There are also 13 housekeeping cottages/fully-equipped vacation homes available within White Point Vacation Rentals located throughout the Resort property.

Dining at White Point

Seawatch Dining Room -- White Point's main dining room which specializes in steaks, seafood and a variety of pasta dishes. Large windows facing the beach, children's menu, seating for 150.

Founder's Lounge -- For cozy and casual dining in front of a large beach stone fireplace. Serves a variety of specialty drinks and a popular munchies menu. (Full dining room menu is available during regular dining room hours.) Outdoor deck overlooking the beach.

Room-Service -- Our Guest Services staff would be happy to deliver your order to your accommodation. Picnic lunches and gift baskets may also be ordered through the Front Desk.

Meeting & Convention Facilities

White Point has over 10,000 square feet of meeting space -- not including the beach! We have a wide variety of spaces available ranging from intimate gatherings for 10 people in front of the fireplace to our popular Atlantic Conference Centre which offers an incredible view of the ocean and can accommodate up to 300 people for a reception.

Average Temperatures at White Point

  • Summer temperatures range from daytime highs of 20 to 27 degrees Celsius.
  • Spring and Autumn temperatures average a pleasant 10 degrees cooler.
  • Winter temperatures are much less predictable ranging from an average of -12 degrees Celsius to 4 degrees Celsius.

Temperatures in the summer at the resort tend to be a couple of degrees cooler than they are inland due to our oceanfront location. However, in the winter the reverse is true as the ocean tends to make our winter temperatures more moderate.

Directions

From Halifax: White Point Beach Resort is 95 miles (152 km) southwest of Halifax on Route 103, Exit 20A.

From Yarmouth: We are approximately 95 miles (153 km) east of Yarmouth on Route 103, Exit 20.

From Digby: Follow Route 101 to Highway 8 then Route 103 to Exit 20A straight to White Point Beach Resort.
